A red dot will appear in different places on the screen. Participants are instructed to remember its location. This task was a modification of the classic Corsi Block Tapping task (1972). Instead of quantifying how many items the participant can remember, we ask how precisely they can remember each item’s location in the sequence.
Although both Oxford Memory Test and Corsi-Block measure visuospatial working memory, the latter requires participants to remember not only the spatial locations but also the temporal order of items.
